At the beginning of the 21st century, I co-created a website with the vector characters of football clubs – hqfl.dk (High Quality Football Logos). As part of learning vector graphics programs, I have mapped the characters of hundreds of clubs from around the world. Thanks to this, I have met many fantastic people living in all continents and countries, from Slovakia to Nepal. One of my colleagues on the project, Biplav Gautam, who became a trusted acquaintance, was once an employee of the Asian Football Federation. Thanks to Biplav, I have created logos for several Nepalese clubs – and the one I like the most is that of Khwopa Kings from the city of Bhaktapur. The most well-known landmark of the city located at the foot of the Himalayas is the Nyatapola temple, whose likeness I incorporated in the club’s logo.
The club runs an academy in which they train young Nepalese football players. Despite their modest financial resources, Khwopa Kings’ players wear the logo I designed on their match-kits.
