Many Poles are interested in English football but have you ever met an Englishman who is passionate about the Polish Ekstraklasa?
Christopher Lash has lived for a number of years on the right bank of the Vistula river in Warsaw (hence the name of his medium „Right Bank Warsaw”). He covers Polish football in original podcasts and on social media, all from the Warsaw district of Grochów.
I designed a logo for Chris’ media, which symbolizes his fascination with Polish football. In the logo I created a likeness of the Polish hero of the cult World Cup Qualifying match at Wembley in 1973. I made the logotype with the Apropal font, developed by Rafał Buchner as part of the “Warsaw Types” project.
